Uncle Wiggily And Tweedledum

Uncle Wiggily and Tweedledum is a short story where the gentlemanly rabbit Uncle Wiggily goes walking with Alice from Wonderland, only to stumble upon the famously quarrelsome twins Tweedledum and Tweedledee mid-battle in the woods. When the skillery-scalery alligator lunges from behind a stump and threatens to "bumble and mumble" Uncle Wiggily, the portly Tweedledum hatches a surprisingly clever plan — using his own round shape as the key to an unlikely escape. The story blends Garis's warm rabbit-world charm with Lewis Carroll's whimsical characters in a lively, playful romp.
