Uncle Wiggily And The Do-do

"Uncle Wiggily and the Do-do" is a short children's story in which Uncle Wiggily, the kind-hearted rabbit gentleman, hatches a secret plan to rescue his overworked housekeeper, Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy, from a towering pile of dishes, unmade beds, and unswept floors. Using a woodland telephone made from a trumpet vine, he lures her away on a pretend errand — then races back to tackle the chores himself. Just when the task seems overwhelming, Alice from Wonderland arrives with the remarkable Do-do bird, whose tail holds the key to getting everything done.
