Uncle Wiggily And The Cook

Uncle Wiggily and the Cook is a short story following Uncle Wiggily, the bunny rabbit gentleman, who is left alone for the day while Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy sews mosquito shirts for animal soldiers. Determined to make himself a hot lunch from cold leftovers, Wiggily soon faces a very different kind of heat when the red flamingo bird from Wonderland storms into the hollow stump bungalow, threatening to burn him. With danger sizzling close, rescue arrives from an unexpected and wonderfully chaotic quarter.
