Uncle Wiggily And The Caterpillar

Uncle Wiggily and the Caterpillar is a short story following Uncle Wiggily, a rabbit gentleman, and Alice from Wonderland as they set out to find the Blue Caterpillar on an errand for the Duchess. Their cheerful walk through the fields takes a dangerous turn when a circus elephant, bullied into compliance by a swarm of vengeful mosquitoes, seizes them both in his trunk. Rescue comes from an unlikely source — a crawling, pipe-smoking Blue Caterpillar with a clever plan and a knowledge of the elephant's most tender weakness.
