Uncle Wiggily And The Blackbirds

Uncle Wiggily and the Blackbirds is a short story following Uncle Wiggily Longears, a rabbit gentleman who sets off from his hollow-stump bungalow hoping for an adventure on the first day of Spring. When Mother Goose asks him to watch for the missing blackbirds that signal the season's arrival, his search leads him to the palace of jolly Old King Cole — and a very peculiar pie with twenty-four feathered guests tucked inside, ready to sing.
