Uncle Wiggily And The Queen

Uncle Wiggily and the Queen is a whimsical short story following Uncle Wiggily Longears, a rabbit gentleman hobbling through the woods on his striped rheumatism crutch. When the March wind causes mischief with his hat and crutch, he pauses to free a bee lady tangled in a bramble bush. Later, at a glittering palace, he discovers a queen sitting in her parlor with bread but no honey — threatening to unravel the whole Mother Goose story she is meant to be living out.
