Uncle Wiggily And Old Mother Hubbard | Stories About Sharing

This story follows Uncle Wiggily, a kind and adventurous rabbit, as he embarks on a mission to deliver an orange cake to Dr. Possum in gratitude for curing his ailment. Along the way, Uncle Wiggily encounters the classic character Mother Hubbard and her hungry dog, who are unable to find anything to eat in their bare cupboard. Demonstrating his generosity, Uncle Wiggily offers them the orange cake, intended for Dr. Possum. Though initially concerned about having no cake to present to the good doctor, Mother Hubbard quickly remedies the situation by enlisting the help of her neighbor, the baker Paddy Kake, who bakes a new cake to replace the one they ate. Uncle Wiggily ultimately completes his mission, delivering the fresh raisin and plum cake to Dr. Possum, exemplifying themes of kindness, sharing, and the spirit of helping others.
