Uncle Wiggily And Mr. Pop-goes | Stories About Snowstorms

This story centers around Uncle Wiggily, a kind rabbit gentleman, who, despite a snowstorm, wants to help Mrs. Littletail by running errands for her. As he goes to purchase bread and sugar from the grocery store managed by a monkey-doodle gentleman, he witnesses toy balloons bursting, which gives him an idea. On his way back, Uncle Wiggily overhears a fox and a weasel, named Mr. Pop-Goes, planning to drive out and capture his rabbit family. Quick-wittedly, Uncle Wiggily uses the balloons to create loud popping noises, mimicking gunfire and startling the predators into fleeing. His cleverness ensures a safe return to his family, providing both the groceries and an afternoon of balloon fun for the Littletail children, demonstrating how resourcefulness can save the day.
