Uncle Wiggily And The Second Pig

Uncle Wiggily and the Second Pig is a short story in which the resourceful rabbit gentleman encounters Squeaker, the second little pig, glumly resigned to having his wooden house blown down by the big bad wolf — because that's simply how the book goes. Armed with jam tarts and a quietly clever plan, Uncle Wiggily builds a secret ice cabin behind the house before the wolf arrives. When the wolf huffs and puffs and sends the wooden walls crashing, Squeaker discovers that a good friend can rewrite even the most predetermined story.
