Uncle Wiggily And The Butterfly | Insects Stories

In this engaging tale, Uncle Wiggily Longears, a kindly rabbit gentleman, embarks on a simple errand to fetch yeast cake for Nurse Jane Fuzzy Wuzzy. During his walk, he encounters a distressed butterfly with a broken wing, wounded by a recent hailstorm. Demonstrating empathy and resourcefulness, Uncle Wiggily seeks the help of Dr. Possum to mend the butterfly's wing and arranges for bees to deliver honey to the recovering insect. The story takes a heartfelt turn when Uncle Wiggily falls ill with rheumatism and requires fanning to cool down. Grateful for the rabbit's past kindness, the butterfly returns in perfect health, using her wings to fan Uncle Wiggily, aiding in his recovery. This delightful narrative underscores the value of kindness and reciprocity, illustrating how acts of goodwill can lead to unexpected help when needed most.
