Enthusiastically, they begin preparing their plots alongside their mother, with the intention of winning a prize for the best garden. However, a mishap occurs when their father, Mr. Littletail, ignites a large pile of brush that threatens to catch fire to their house. As the fire grows more intense, there is panic about losing their home. In a resourceful twist, Sammie calls for help from Uncle Wiggily Longears, who arrives in his airship to douse the fire with water from above, saving their home just in time.
