Princess Dido and the Prince of the Roses

Princess Dido and the Prince of the Roses is a fairy tale short story about a young princess who slips away from her attendants and wanders deep into a moonlit forest. There she discovers a tiny gold key hanging from a bush — and a hidden door in a tree. Beyond it lies an enchanted castle where each floor blooms with roses in a different colour, and a mysterious prince has been waiting for a princess willing to climb every last stair.
