Baron Munchausen

Baron Munchausen is a short story bursting with outrageous tall tales narrated by the Baron himself — a man whose confidence is matched only by his imagination. From waking up in a snowy cemetery after tying his horse to a submerged church tower, to riding a cannonball into an enemy castle and climbing a beanstalk to the moon to retrieve a silver axe, each episode tops the last in sheer absurdity. The Baron recounts every impossible escape with deadpan calm, pulling himself out of a ten-metre crater by his own hair without missing a beat.
