Uncle Wiggily and the Pirates

Uncle Wiggily and the Pirates is a short story where a harmless game of pretend takes a dangerous turn for Uncle Wiggily the rabbit. When piggie brothers Curly and Floppy Twistytail tie him to a raft mast as part of their pirate game, the sneaky Fox and Wolf see their chance — stealing the raft and capturing Uncle Wiggily for real. Convinced it is all still in fun, the unsuspecting bunny laughs along, not realising the true danger closing in around him on the open water.
