Uncle Wiggily And The Peanut Man

Uncle Wiggily and the Peanut Man is a short story following Uncle Wiggily the rabbit and his unlikely companion, a runaway circus elephant, as they journey together through woods, mountains, and rivers. When the enormous elephant falls gravely ill by the roadside, Uncle Wiggily searches desperately for a doctor — only to discover that no elephant doctor exists. With his friend groaning and tearful, hope arrives in the most unexpected form: a cheerful peanut man pushing his roasting wagon through the trees.
