Uncle Wiggily And The Man From Bombay

Uncle Wiggily And The Man From Bombay is a short story following the ever-helpful bunny gentleman as a simple errand — retrieving his dancing shoes before a party — leads to an unexpected encounter in the moonlit woods. There he finds the fat man from Bombay, a figure straight out of Mother Goose, sitting forlorn on a stump after a mischievous snipe bird flew off with his pipe. When Uncle Wiggily himself ends up hurt and stranded, a surprising chain of kindness connects all three characters and untangles every problem at once.
