Uncle Wiggily And The Violets

Uncle Wiggily and the Violets is a short story in which the rabbit gentleman stumbles upon a clump of discontented blue violets who long to be bold roses and see the wider world. Taking pity on them, Uncle Wiggily digs up a small bunch and brings them along on his woodland walk — where the flowers soon discover that even the smallest, quietest things can soften a fox's heart and solve a laundry crisis in ways no rose ever could.
