Uncle Wiggily And The First Pig

Uncle Wiggily and the First Pig follows the beloved rabbit gentleman as he encounters Grunter — the first little pig — hauling straw to build his house. Grunter knows exactly what comes next: a wolf, a lot of huffing, and a house in ruins. Uncle Wiggily refuses to accept the story as written, and when the wolf arrives and blows the straw house down, the quick-thinking rabbit digs a hiding place in a snow bank, outwitting the wolf and rewriting the ending Mother Goose had planned all along.
