Tigger Is Unbounced | Pooh Stories

In this A.A. Milne story, Rabbit, bothered by Tigger's exuberant bouncing, persuades Pooh and Piglet to join a scheme to "unbounce" him by taking him deep into the misty Forest and abandoning him, hoping the experience will make Tigger sad and humble. The plan backfires spectacularly: Tigger, unfazed and confident, easily finds his way home alone, while Rabbit, Pooh, and Piglet become hopelessly lost themselves. After much wandering, Pooh's unique logic helps him lead Piglet home, where they learn Tigger is fine and Christopher Robin has come looking for them; eventually, Tigger finds a genuinely humbled and "Small and Sorry" Rabbit, who is now overjoyed to see his boisterous, bouncy friend, highlighting the themes of accepting others for who they are and the unintended consequences of trying to change them.
