Uncle Wiggily And The Tiger | Animal Stories

In this story, Uncle Wiggily the rabbit sets out to get Nurse Jane's dull scissors sharpened but gets sidetracked when he meets a friendly tiger who has escaped from the circus and has a painful thorn in his paw. Uncle Wiggily kindly helps the tiger remove the thorn, and back at his bungalow, Nurse Jane bandages the sore paw. When Uncle Wiggily realizes he forgot to get the scissors sharpened, the grateful tiger offers a clever solution: he uses his sharp claws to cut the linen Nurse Jane needed for sheets and pillowcases, demonstrating how kindness can be repaid in unexpected ways before deciding to return to the circus.
