Uncle Wiggily And The Leaves

Uncle Wiggily and the Leaves is a short story about Uncle Wiggily Longears, a rabbit gentleman who sets out to rake the dead leaves from around his hollow-stump bungalow before spring flowers push through. When young rabbit children Sammie and Susie vanish into a leaf pile, Uncle Wiggily fears the worst — only to discover it's Jimmie Wibblewobble the duck in real trouble, his bag of feathers scattered by a mischievous March wind and Mother Goose left without her feather bed.
