Uncle Wiggily And Ding-Dong Kitty | Animal Stories

When Kitty Mew goes missing after running an errand for a yeast cake, a worried Mother Goose and her friends ask the kind rabbit, Uncle Wiggily, for help. Uncle Wiggily searches and eventually discovers Kitty trapped down an old well, where she explains she accidentally fell in but was kept afloat by the buoyant yeast cake. Demonstrating resourcefulness, Uncle Wiggily uses a grapevine as a rope to rescue the kitten, resolving the situation happily and cleverly referencing the "Ding-dong bell" nursery rhyme about a cat in a well.
