Uncle Wiggily And The Cheshire Cat

Uncle Wiggily and the Cheshire Cat is a short story following Uncle Wiggily Longears, a polite rabbit gentleman whose woodland stroll takes a dangerous turn after he picks up a lost piece of Cheshire cheese. The cheese's lingering scent convinces a gang of hungry rats that he himself is their dinner, and they haul him underground into a locked room. With cheese knives appearing and no escape in sight, Uncle Wiggily's only hope lies in an earlier act of kindness — and a very unusual cat with a very wide smile.
