Spring and Her Helpers | Stories About Seasons

In this allegorical story, Winter departs, and Spring takes over, realizing she needs help to bring life back to the land. She enlists the Sun to send warming sunbeams and asks King Eolus for the assistance of the South, East, and West Winds. Each wind plays a specific role: East Wind brings rain, South Wind brings birds and warmth, and West Wind sweeps away the old, making way for new growth. Together, Spring and her helpers transform the bare, dreary landscape into a vibrant, beautiful world filled with grass, blossoms, and joyful creatures.
