The Three Little Bears

The Three Little Bears is a classic fairy tale short story you can read free online, following a mischievous old woman who stumbles upon the forest home of three bears while they are out on their morning walk. Driven by hunger, she samples their porridge, tests their chairs, and finally curls up in the little bear's bed for a nap — never suspecting the owners are about to return. When the bears discover their home has been disturbed, it is the little bear's sharp, shrill cry that brings the intruder's adventure to an abrupt and startled end.
