"The Piggy Girl" tells the story of Betty, a girl who hates being washed and wishes to live with pigs. She runs away to a pigsty and begins to live like a pig, growing dirty and lazy. However, when she overhears the farmer planning to slaughter the pigs, she fears for her own life and runs back home. She discovers she was only dreaming and wakes up with a newfound appreciation for cleanliness and her comfortable life. The story teaches children the importance of hygiene and being grateful for the comforts of home.
