The animals' Christmas tree | Christmas Bedtime Stories
Read along at Ririro.com
The animals, inspired by the human tradition, decide to have their own Christmas tree. The lion calls a meeting where each animal chooses a gift to hang on the tree. However, the pig's desire for mud and the wolf's craving for a lamb cause discord, threatening the Christmas spirit. A lamb offers itself to save the tree, prompting the lion to reject his usual prey. The pig, realizing his selfishness, withdraws his request, and the lion rejects the pig. They then decide to hang images of animals instead, leading to a harmonious celebration. This custom inspires humans to decorate their trees with similar images.
