Thumbelina

Thumbelina is a short fairy tale about a girl no bigger than a thumb, born from a magic flower, whose small size makes her both vulnerable and extraordinary. Kidnapped by a toad who wants her to marry her son, Thumbelina drifts down the river and through the forest, passing through the clutches of a beetle and the cold expectations of a mole, all while longing for sunlight and freedom. Her quiet act of nursing an injured swallow back to health becomes the turning point that changes everything.
