Uncle Wiggily And The Water Lilies

"Uncle Wiggily and the Water Lilies" is a short children's story in which Uncle Wiggily, a kind old gentleman rabbit, sets out to find Snowball — a little white kitten who vanished while chasing a ball of yarn. Despite searching every tree, hollow stump, and shaded path, and even enlisting a policeman cat, Snowball is nowhere to be found. Uncle Wiggily returns to Snowball's worried mother with only a bouquet of water lilies for comfort — not knowing the flowers hold a secret far more precious than he imagined.
