The Princess and the Pea

The Princess and the Pea is a charming short fairy tale about a prince determined to find a real princess, and the storm-soaked stranger who knocks at the castle gate one rainy night. With twenty mattresses, twenty down blankets, and a single hidden pea, the queen devises a clever bedtime test to uncover the truth. This whimsical retelling blends humour with wonder, ending on a delightfully strange note about where that famous pea ended up.
