Puss in Boots

Puss in Boots is a fairy tale by Charles Perrault about a penniless miller's son who inherits nothing but a talking cat. Armed with boots and a bag — and a great deal of cunning — the cat invents a noble identity for his master, the "Marquis of Carabas," and sets an elaborate scheme in motion. He courts royal favour, manipulates an entire countryside of farmers, and faces down a shape-shifting giant in a castle. Meanwhile, the miller's son catches the eye of a princess, unaware of just how far his cat's scheming will go.
