The Kite That Went To The Moon

"The Kite That Went To The Moon" is a short story for children about seven-year-old Tom, whose grand ambition to fly the biggest kite in the village ends in tears and laughter from his peers. Determined to discover what went wrong, Tom and his friend Anna set off into the world to find answers. Along the way they meet a mysterious old man, a helpful elf, and the imperious Lady of the Moon herself — and learn that a kite painted with the moon can only fly when the moon is actually there to fly to.
