A Defective Santa Claus

"A Defective Santa Claus" is a rollicking Christmas poem narrated in the dialect-rich voice of a child eagerly awaiting Santa's visit while Pa is away. Uncle Sidney keeps the household entertained with roasted potatoes, popcorn, and tall tales of Christmases past, building excitement for Santa's arrival. When a costumed Santa bursts through the door on Christmas Eve, little Lee-Bob recognises him by his big white moustache — but the candle on the tree catches Santa's fur belt alight, sending the whole scene into chaotic, hilarious uproar.
