Santa Claus’ Pony

Santa Claus' Pony is set in a cobblestoned Belgian town where brothers Jan and Peter Stein share a Christmas eve errand and a chance encounter that changes their lives. Jan burns to study at the Griffin School but cannot bear to leave his younger brother behind — or drain their father's charity. When a spirited girl on a white pony appears at the frozen marsh's edge, Peter is convinced she rides Santa Claus' own steed. A single act of honesty toward a family Jan has reason to resent sets an unexpected gift in motion, one that carries both brothers toward the future Jan has always dreamed of building.
