This Is Sarah Jane Collins

"This Is Sarah Jane Collins" follows a determined nine-year-old girl from a poor coal-mining town who has never once received a Christmas present. Convinced Santa Claus simply doesn't know where she lives, Sarah Jane writes him a careful letter, negotiates chimney-cleaning with her lodger, and pins a handwritten sign above her sleeping head so the old Saint cannot possibly miss her. The story captures her resourceful, unshakeable faith against a backdrop of quiet poverty and genuine longing.
