The Coming of the Prince

"The Coming of the Prince" is a Christmas fairy tale following Barbara, a homeless child wandering the snow-swept city alone on Christmas Eve. Turned away by a cruel shopkeeper, barred from the cathedral, and refused shelter at every door, Barbara learns from a gentle snowflake that the prince always comes through the forest. She slips past the watchman and ventures into the dark, frozen woodland, where pine trees, a vine, and a tiny snowdrop offer her the warmth and kindness the city never could. What awaits her in the forest at dawn is something no one in the city will ever witness.
