The Song of the Star

"The Song of the Star" is a Christmas short story following Will, a selfless newsboy who gives every earned penny to his widowed mother instead of joining his friends' holiday feast. When an accident sidelines him on Christmas Eve, his sister Josie steps into the cold streets and, drawn by a bright star, sings on the steps of a mansion — unknowingly before the grandfather who cast their mother out thirteen years ago. Faith, sacrifice, and an unexpected knock on the door bring a family back together before morning.
