In the Great Walled Country

"In the Great Walled Country" is a Christmas fable set in a hidden arctic land where children never grow up and Grandfather Christmas is their next-door neighbor. When a seemingly wise stranger convinces the king to let children gather presents only for themselves, the enchanted forest goes mysteriously bare on Christmas Eve — except for young Inge, who quietly defies the new rule to fill his bag with gifts for his crippled sister. His quiet act of selflessness unlocks a truth that the entire kingdom has forgotten, with consequences that change their Christmas traditions forever.
