The Voyage Of The Wee Red Cap

"The Voyage of the Wee Red Cap" is an Irish Christmas fairy tale about Teig, a cold-hearted miser who bars his door on St. Stephen's Night against his hungry neighbours and one-legged old Barney. When the Good People commandeer his empty hearth, Teig steals a wee red cap and is whisked from Spain to Holland to the King of England's palace — witnessing generosity everywhere he turns. A chilling brush with the gallows forces him to confront what he has hoarded and what he has withheld.
