The Enchanted Palace

"The Enchanted Palace" follows Perola, a young woman of rare beauty living in a village on the Azorean island of Terceira, whose reflection in a cistern draws her into an enchanted marble palace hidden beneath a fairy lake. When she vanishes without a trace, her grieving mother prays without ceasing while the village youths consult a wise woman and mount a determined search across the island. The story builds quietly toward a promised reunion, shaped by faith, loyalty, and the strange rules of fairy enchantment.
