Longstaff, Pinepuller And Rockheaver

"Longstaff, Pinepuller and Rockheaver" is a Brazilian fairy tale following a boy raised in the deep forest by his mother, who flees a brutal blacksmith father. Growing to extraordinary strength, the young man forges his name — and an iron staff — before joining two equally mighty companions on the road. When two princesses vanish from a seaside shore and a red-booted dwarf begins stealing their meals, the three friends must descend into an underground lair ruled by a seven-headed serpent to break the enchantment and reclaim what was stolen.
