The Beast Slayer

"The Beast Slayer" follows a young man who discovers his father sold his three sisters to mysterious strangers years before. Armed with a magic boot, an invisibility cap, and an all-opening key, he sets out to find them — and stumbles into a giant princess, a forbidden room, and a beast whose life is hidden inside a candle locked inside a chain of impossible secrets. The race to extinguish that candle before the beast kills the princess gives the tale its breathless, rising tension.
