The Forest Lad And The Wicked Giant

"The Forest Lad and the Wicked Giant" follows a boy raised deep in the wilderness who journeys with his mother to reclaim their abandoned city home — only to find it occupied by a monstrous giant who has destroyed every inhabitant. Forced to undertake deadly quests for cobra and porcupine oil at the giant's cunning command, the lad draws on forest-honed courage and the quiet guidance of a mysterious old woman. The story builds to a violent showdown where a mother's desperate love and divine intervention are tested against overwhelming power.
