The Three Princes And The Princess Nouronnihar

"The Three Princes and Princess Nouronnihar" is a short story in which a sultan sets his three sons — Houssain, Ali, and Ahmed — on a quest to win the hand of the beautiful Princess Nouronnihar. Each prince returns with an astonishing object: a flying carpet, a seeing-tube, and a healing apple. When the princess falls gravely ill, all three gifts prove essential to saving her life, forcing the sultan to devise a new contest to settle who deserves her love.
