Baba Yaga

Baba Yaga is a short story rooted in Slavic folklore, following Peter, a miraculous child born from a wooden stick, who is snatched from his fishing boat by the cunning Baba Yaga after the witch tricks him with a false voice. Locked in a cage behind her eerie house on chicken legs, Peter's only hope lies with his mistress's loyal servant — a brave girl who must use her wits, a starving cat's secret knowledge, and a pot of tar to outwit one of folklore's most fearsome witches.
