The Twelve Huntsmen

The Twelve Huntsmen is a Brothers Grimm fairy tale about a princess who refuses to accept that her betrothed has been forced to marry another. Disguising herself among eleven look-alikes dressed as huntsmen, she enters his court and serves at his side — unseen, unrecognised, and heartbroken. A magical lion suspects the truth, and a series of clever tests push the deception to its limits. What unfolds is a quiet tale of devotion, ingenuity under pressure, and the fragile line between loyalty to the living and promises made to the dying.
