The snake prince

"The Snake Prince" is a fairy tale that begins with a destitute old woman who discovers something impossible inside her humble brass pot — a find that sets an extraordinary chain of events in motion. A prince born under enchantment, a curious princess who pushes too hard for a secret, and a night surrounded by a river of glittering, hissing snakes form the heart of this story. When the prince vanishes into dark water, his wife must choose between fear and devotion — and the price of either could last a lifetime.
