Blanca and Rosalinde

Blanca and Rosalinde is a fairy tale about two sisters whose contrasting natures set them on very different paths. When a mysterious old wanderer arrives at their mother Trude's door, generous Rosalinde offers her egg while Blanca grudgingly parts with her plums. A sorceress rewards each girl according to her heart's desire — but the crown Blanca craves brings jealousy, neglect, and loneliness, while Rosalinde's simple farm fills with warmth, abundance, and love.
