The Six Swans

The Six Swans is a fairy tale where a young girl's courage is tested to its absolute limits when her six brothers are transformed into swans by a jealous stepmother's enchantment. To break the curse, she must spend six years in complete silence — no speaking, no laughing — while secretly sewing shirts from aster flowers. Accused of terrible crimes she cannot deny, condemned to death, and still she stitches. The story builds an almost unbearable tension between her suffering and her unshakeable devotion to her brothers.
