The boy with the moon on his forehead

"The Boy with the Moon on His Forehead" is a rich folk tale about royal betrayal and a remarkable child whose identity must be hidden from the world. When the seventh queen gives birth to twins — a girl and a boy bearing the moon on his forehead and stars on his palms — jealous queens conspire to replace the newborns with puppies and cast the mother out. Raised by a humble potter, the twins survive, but danger finds them again when a mysterious woman sends the boy on a seemingly impossible quest to retrieve a flower guarded by seven hundred immortal warriors.
